Review Policy

This page goes over my policy for reviewing. This applies to authors, publishing companies, and PR companies.

Although I have only been on and off on blogging, I have been reviewing for a while. I also have loved books since I started getting to pick what I was able to read.

Requesting a Review or Giveaway:

I would absolutely love to review it for you! Any book given to me for review go to the top of my TBR pile in the order received or by release date.

All of my reviews include titles, authors, blurbs, my own thoughts, a link to purchase the book on Amazon, a link to the book on Goodreads, a cover picture, a rating out of 5 stars, and usually my own Instagram photo of the book. I will never post spoilers (unless asked by the author/publisher/PR company) and if asked I will include any information asked such as book trailers or anything else. I do hate to write negative reviews though I will try to include my favorite and least favorite parts in all reviews. I do focus on my favorite parts and I will never be malicious or mean even if I dislike the book (though that rarely happens).

I will post all my reviews on here (The Literary Coffee Faerie) as well as Amazon, BlogLovin', Goodreads, Facebook page, Twitter, and will try to put a shorter version on my Instagram page.

Books will be reviewed in a timely manner. I will let authors/publishers/PR companies know how long my waiting list is. Authors/publishers/PR companies may request a specific date for their review to be posted (like say near the book's release date).

Every review copy book post will state that the book was a review copy, from whom it was given, as well as that it was received for no financial compensation.

Books I Like:

I really do read anything and everything from classics to romance to science fiction, although I do usually lean toward Young Adult, fiction or fantasy. Genres I love are paranormal, thriller, dystopian, mystery, historical, fantasy, romance, science fiction, comedy. Adult fiction wise, I like the same genres but I do try to stick to books with children appropriate covers since I am also posting these to my Instagram.

I have a Kindle, so I would be more than happy to review an eBook as long as its suitable for that.

If you would like a book in a series, I will be happy to do so. However, I do ask that if it is a series I have not read yet, please provide the previous books so that I may have a full understanding and enjoyment of the book.

I would love to participate in giveaways, interviews, guest posts and blog tours. Although for the blog tours, I would love sufficient time to read the book and prepare (preferably a month). If you are interested, please contact me using the email address below.
